CampaignUP is Revolutionizing WhatsApp Marketing

Turkish startup company CampaignUp, located at Canary Wharf Level39 is leading the new era in marketing and customer services with WhatsApp marketing interface.

The biggest two financial centers of the U.K are London’s City of London and Canary Wharf. More than 100.000 people are employed at Canary Wharf, and it is home to many major banking, media and professional servicing companies such as Barclays, Citigroup, Clifford Chance, Credit Suisse, Infosys, Fitch Ratings, HSBC, J.P. Morgan, KPMG, MetLife, Moody’s, Morgan Stanley, RBC, Skadden, State Street and Thompson Reuters.

Level39 was founded by Canary Wharf Group, and it’s been in service since March 2013 in “One Canada Square”. It has opened up a 80.000 meter squares of space for fast growing tech companies on the 24th,39th and 42nd floors. After a company starts from scratch with just an idea and completes its development, they go to 24th or 42nd floors. On the 39th floor there are many startup companies and 5 of them are Turkish.

The founder of the company Ali Rıza Arslan’s job is “WhatsApp marketing”. Ali Rıza Arslan came to London when he was in elementary school. He sums up his work experiences so far as “ I do have interesting experiences. I worked in the defence industry, space industry, social projects, society works about businessmen and now WhatsApp marketing”
CampaignUp is a revolutionary WhatsApp interface for marketing and customer services which came to life with the help of an investor, according to Arslan. The company right now is working with organizations such as Conservative Party, London & Partners and John Lewis. “We are focused on bringing in even bigger clients. We are also doing things for medium sized enterprises as well. At first England was our only target, but now we want to capture Turkey’s market as well. After that we are planning to expand to the U.S and Brazil. Because Brazil is leading the world in WhatsApp usage.” Arslan stated.

User Friendly, Innovative System
WhatsApp marketing is a very new concept and is very much open to development. There are around 47-48 similar interfaces to CampaignUp’s, and Arslan states that “we are one of the oldest ones”. He goes on saying “ People used to send SMS and mails but now everybody uses WhatsApp and it is an innovative system. It’s also an app that is very suitable for marketing, and the more firms use it to communicate, the more people will use the app and the numbers will go even higher. We are now recognised in WhatsApp marketing arena, which is an advantage for us”

Another project brought to life by Arslan is “Ne Haber?”. Arslan sums up the project as: “ There are many people here who are not English and are coming here from abroad. Especially in the last 2-3 years, a lot of people came here from Turkey. Less and less people are reading newspapers that are printed and sold in Turkish neighbourhoods. What we do is, we compile news from the 5 biggest Turkish newspapers and send direct links to our clients via WhatsApp. There are 2000 subscribers to this system right now. Company’s goal is to reach 25.000” Arslan also stated that the company has also created a similar app for Italian, Chinese and Polish people who live in England.
