Health Secretary Matt Hancock has resigned after breaking the rules about social distancing

Matt Hancock, former health secretary, has resigned from his job this Saturday. The reason behind his resignation was reflected in the press as breaking the rules about social distancing. 

The truth about the reason for the resignation is Hancock kissing his closest aide, Gina Coladangelo, in his ministerial office and violating the Covid determination. This incident is proven by video recordings and photos that Hancock makes apologies about his fault.

In his resignation letter Hancock said: “We have worked so hard as a country to fight the pandemic. The last thing I would want is for my private life to distract attention from the single-minded focus that is leading us out of this crisis. I want to reiterate my apology for breaking the guidance and apologise to my family and loved ones for putting them through this. I also need to be with my children at this time.”
