EEL Events Senior Project Manager Emine Acar says: “The UK Parliament has confirmed that as of January 31 2020, the UK will be formally leaving the European Union. This transition process of the UK leaving will be very important in terms of Turkish relations with the UK. There is a very good opportunity for Turkey to benefit. Turkey can build a stronger economic bridge with England. The issue
will be evaluated with our stakeholders and Forum participants”
Acar highlights this year will be different than other years as we will do two-panel discussions in the UK Parliament with participation by some British MPs and we will look to the future of investment in this lucrative market addressing the challenges of recent economic changes, and where the opportunities lie ahead for foreign investors. We will welcome leaders across a variety of industry sectors, investors, financial intermediaries and policymakers to discuss, debate and analyse the opportunities and key issues facing the Turkish investment climate.
