Turkcell wins two awards in two different fields in London, with their “Surpriz Nokta” (Suprise Point) and “Catlat” (Crack the Egg) applications.
“The Loyalty Magazine Awards” is an exclusive event held in London, where the most successful marketing projects are awarded. With their 17 customer oriented applications, Turkcell were through to the final. Turkcell won “the Best Use of Gamification to Enhance Loyalty” award with their “Surpriz Nokta” application, with which Turkcell distributed 74 million gifts to its customers. Turkcell also won the “Most Successful” award in the Central and Easter Europe and Turkey Region, with their “Catlat” app, which is included in Turkcell’s youth oriented GNC package.
Acting Chief Marketing Officer Omer Barbaros Yis and Corporate Communications Officer Ismail Ozbayraktar accepted the award on behalf of Turkcell. Catlat (Crack the Egg) was Played 30 Million Times
Catlat, is an app included in Turkcell’s youth oriented GNC package. Youngsters crack two eggs that appear in their screens weekly and earn additional internet awards up to 8 GB every month. It has 30 million hits as of today.
Surpriz Noktasi ( Surprise Point ) is another app of Turkcell, that is included in the BiP platform. It involves customers finding the hidden dots on the map in their phones. When a dot is found, the customers are rewarded with many gifts such as 5 GB data, 50 Turkish Liras worth of Paycell usage or a month-long Fizy Premium membership for free.
Loyalty Magazine Awards are considered to be the most important organization of EMEA region. Turkcell had 17 projects in 11 different categories, making them the company with most projects competing in the finals.
